Guitar Services:
Services on electronics of the electric guitar only, including:
1. Pickup replacement
2. Volume and tone controls replacement
3. Pickup selector switch replacement/repair
4. Mods such as pickup coil tap or series-parallel switches, pre-amplifiers, etc.
All the above services mentioned are also available for electric bass.
* I endorse and recommend Seymour Duncan Pickups.
Note: All the above services do not include any routing, drilling, or other modifications to the wood or
other material making up the guitar's body. For instance, on pre-amplifier installation, I cannot route out the body to install battery holders or to make room for the circuitry. If you wish, you can have a luthier or other craftsman do the body modifications and I can finish the rest. I will not do wood-work because I am not set up for this. I also do not do any fretwork setup or change strings, etc.

Amp mods:
a. gain mods such as extra preamp tube stages.
b. tone mods such as signal capacitor substitution switches, brightness switches, tone controls, presence
controls.
c. output power mods
d. Speaker replacement mods
e. effects loop additions to amps that have none.
f. Master volume addition to amps that are non-master volume.
g. Standby switch addition or modification.
h. Safety mods such as upgrading to a grounded power plug and cord.
Amp repairs:
a. Recap jobs
b. troubleshooting and repair
c. Tube socket repairs/upgrades
d. Tube replacements/upgrades
e. Refurbishment/restoration/cleaning of circuitry and chassis (no woodworking)
f. Transformer replacement and/or upgrades output/power/choke, etc.
Note: All mods and repairs are done on Vintage amps with the understanding that the collector value may be reduced.
At this time I am excluding bass amps due to their size and power requirements, but could possibly expand into this field in the future.
Note: My services are catered towards the repair of all-tube circuitry, but I can also repair transistor boxes (solid-state) guitar amplifiers on a case-by-case basis. I reserve the right to to refuse services on amps that I feel I cannot honestly repair or upgrade.
